Stator Production Line Installation at Tesla Gigafactory Texas
From 2021 to 2022, a GERMANENGINEER.COM project manager served as the site manager for a key Tesla project facilitated through collaboration with GROB-Werke. The assignment focused on the delivery, installation and commissioning of advanced electric motor manufacturing equipment at Tesla’s new Gigafactory in Austin, Texas.
Key accomplishments include:
- Overseeing the successful installation of a stator production line, including five hairpin benders, three laser welding stations, two coating cells, and various test equipment.
- Leading a diverse, international team of engineers from Germany and the U.S., ensuring seamless collaboration.
